Images taken in Cuba in February 2016. At the time the Cubans were very excited in anticipation of a thawing of relations with the USA, which unfortunately has not materialised. Despite the overwhelming poverty the locals were very welcoming and friendly. We travelled from the crumbling city of Havanna, via the rural countryside of Vinales and the vibrant musical city of Trinidad.
