bizarre landscape of 'hoodoos' set down within the amphitheatre of
Bryce Canyon is like nothing else I've seen. The pillars of rock line
up like some neolithic chess set. The colours are of course stunning at
sunrise and sunset - but the scenery looks equally good during
the height of the day. The mixture of colours within the rocks, and
scattering of pine trees - all with a distant backdrop of further
mountain peaks is magnificent. This view, from close to Inspiration
Point on the RIm Trail, is stitched together from 6 separate images.
